Beginning Machine Quilting
Ready to turn your quilt tops into beautiful finished quilts? Join our four week class and learn the art of quilting on your domestic machine! Whether you've made one quilt or have many waiting to be quilted, this class is perfect for you. You'll be working on practice quilt sandwiches provided by the instructor as a required kit. By the time you finish the class, you'll be ready to start quilting on your own "real" quilt tops.

Make your first quilt using the Five Framed pattern which uses five coordinating one yard fabric cuts. Learn the quilting basics, including rotary cutting with a rotary cutter and mat, sewing a scant quarter inch seam, pressing, piecing the top, measuring and adding borders and have a finished quilt top ready for quilting by the end of class! Class pre-requisite: must know how to use your sewing machine. Supply list will be available for pick-up at the shop.

Log Cabin Quilt
Log Cabin Join us to make a traditional Log Cabin quilt during this four-hour class. We will discuss the basic methods for creating this quilt using two main contrasting fabrics, plus an accent color for the center of the block. Students may make a 40” or 52” quilt, and we will also be discussing the endless possible variations.

Running with Big Stitches
Have you ever wanted to learn a faster way to hand quilt? Using Big Stitch techniques, students will learn the basics of sewing with #8 pearl cotton thread to create unique stitch patterns, including background fills and traditional feathers. Instructor will supply thread for use in class, or students may bring their own. The five-hour class will cover all the essential skills
