Intro to Foundation Paper Piecing

Interested in foundation paper piecing? Come learn the basics by sewing a butterfly block from the Butterfly Charm Blocks pattern by Lillyella Stitchery. The free pattern includes several different butterflies that finish at 5", perfect for using in a larger project.
You will be required to bring your sewing machine and have experience using it. This is not a beginner sewing class - it's a beginner paper piecing class!
Don’t be afraid of how complicated the block looks - there will be multiple options for simplification of the pattern during class. The butterfly patterns will be printed for you before class on foundation piecing paper, but you’ll learn how to print your own patterns at home, as well as how to enlarge and reduce the size of existing patterns using a copier.
By the end of this class, you'll have a finished paper-pieced block and the confidence to tackle other paper piecing projects.
