Log Cabin Quilt

Supply list for Log Cabin quilt

For 40” quilt you will need:
- 1 yard each of two contrasting fabrics (one light, one dark, for example)
- ¼ yard accent fabric for block centers, should contrast with other two choices. Fat quarters are fine
- 1 ½ yard each of two contrasting fabrics (see above)
- ¼ yard accent fabric for block centers, should contrast with other two choices. Fat quarters are fine
- Sewing machine with ¼” foot
- Neutral thread (grey or tan are good choices)
- Extra machine needles
- Rotary cutting mat (18” x 24” is a good size)
- Rotary cutter with sharp blade (45mm is a good size)
- Rotary cutting ruler (6” x 24” is a good size to start with. Additional sizes will be discussed in class)
- Notepad and pen/pencil
- Pins
- Small scissors or thread snips
- Seam Ripper
- Camera/phone
